| Personalisation of Products
|
| Artwork In order to personalise a product you will need to supply us with artwork to process your designs onto a product. It is important to consider your gift in relation to the logo. We will make every effort to fit your logo onto the print area of the product. Ideally we would prefer your artwork in an EPS format, but we can assist you with design if required.
Screen Printing Screen-printing is made by applying ink to a screen, spreading and pressing it through openings in the weave with a plastic scraper.
Laser engraving A very powerful beam of light burns the surface material leaving the base material with the desired information. The material that composes the base of the product therefore determines the engraving colour.
Pad printing Pad printing is like screen printing based upon the use of ink. Blades spread the ink to the different areas of the artwork, filling the holes on the embossed areas.
360° Pad Printing A personalisation technique that allows printing on the whole surface of the product.
Embroidery This is a stitching based process. Once we have seen your logo a calculation is made on the number of stitches it will take to complete the design. Most logos fall within 5000, but some require double this. A jacquard is created from this and then used to automatically stitch the design on to the garment.
Hot Foiling /Embossing A metal block is produced from the film. The block has been etched so that the image is raised and your message appears the 'wrong way round'. It is then placed in the blocking machine and heated. Your product is held below in a jig. Between the two is a 'foil' running from one reel to another. There are two parts to the foil, a carrier film and the foil itself. When the hot block is put, under pressure, against the product with the foil in between, the part of the block in contact with the product is the raised part on which your image appears. Foils can be a range of different colours, but are usually gold and silver.
